Boid 2.0 Launches on the Telos Blockchain!
History
Initially, Boid aimed to simplify blockchain technology for everyone, introducing a system to manage and reward user actions on the platform. Since its inception, Boid has continually refined its rewards system, collaborating with the EOS and Telos communities and integrating the World Community Grid (WCG) to promote scientific research within the crypto community. Initially running in a hybrid mode, Boid used both on-chain and traditional off-chain databases, laying the groundwork for future innovations.
However, when WCG was sold by IBM to the Krembil Research Institute, resulting in a nearly 12-month outage, Boid reevaluated its direction and switched to Folding@Home.
Since 2018, Boid's contributions to WCG have earned 68 badges, accumulated 10,359 years of computing runtime, and returned 30 million results, supporting various research projects like:

Since working with Folding@Home, we have risen to 254th overall, earning over 8.9 billion points and contributing to over 108,000 work units, aiding research in areas like:

Testnet Overhaul
Boid's recent overhaul on the Telos Testnet marks a significant advancement. Months of hard work have culminated in a platform that's not only more user-friendly but also boasts enhanced functionality and a streamlined design. This upgrade effectively resolves previous issues, demonstrating our commitment to a seamless user experience.
